A man is painting on a large canvas at a worktable, holding a paintbrush in one hand and a palette in the other.

It is said that art is born of passion. Maybe, maybe not. But if it is, then my passion lies not in the subject or substance, but in the making.

Creating a thing for others to enjoy is the driving force behind my paintings. Since I live in an area surrounded by one of the most beautiful desert landscapes, I chose to concentrate on a familiar subject. Using a mixture of abstract backgrounds and vibrant colors, I create a unique style to express my view of the majestic saguaro and its surroundings.

Every piece of art is made with love in Phoenix, Arizona.

Painting of a large saguaro cactus with multiple arms, set against a colorful background with yellow, orange, gray, and blue watercolor washes, and rocks at the base.
Painting of a desert scene with a tall saguaro cactus, rocks, small green plants, and large green prickly pear cacti against a brown and yellow sky.

“The best reason to buy art is because you love it, no need to complicate it.”
